need a doctor? you phone us or contact us via systmonline you choose whether you require a telephone call back or a face-to-face appointment. if you choose a telephone call (usually quicker and more convenient for many initial problems): we arrange a guide time for a gp to call back the gp phones you back around the guide time together we try to solve your problem on the phone. if you need to be seen, we book you into a face-to-face appointment. for further information, click here when is my preferred doctor in? - check here rising demand - help us to help you gp access – how can you help us to help you? our new system of gp access has been up and running for several months now. the overwhelming feedback from patients is of very high satisfaction, with the clear majority preferring the new system to the old. however, demand for our service is now higher than ever. the royal college of gps is running a campaign called '3 before gp' which simply suggests that you ask yourself three simple questions before booking a gp appointment. we would like to endorse this approach for all our patients. 3 before gp can i self-care?
